Little Licata

Robert Licata said his 6-year-old son was in class when the gunman burst in and shot the teacher.

“That’s when my son grabbed a bunch of his friends and ran out the door,” he said. “He was very brave. He waited for his friends.”

He said the shooter didn’t utter a word.

Kudos to little Licata, my heart is broken today but I found joy in reading this article on ajc. I have a six year old son and I cannot imagine the grief these parents feel. I hurt for them and with them. This bothers me. I go through life putting my self in other peoples shoes to make sure that I remain down to earth. I’m sure most of the parents had finished Christmas shopping and were eagerly waiting to see their little lambs open their gifts. Poor innocent children. My heart is broken~

Racism does not only look like a black man in chains who was later lynched. It also looks like you, people denying that it exists and moving on with the status quo.
